Silvia's progress.

Silvia is a wood elf, who has an affinity for aura magic. She has an obscenely huge mana pool and high Charisma. But Silvia's Wisdom is only average, and on all other fronts is she weak. Most people deemed her weak and unsuitable for any kind of combat, and even healing could be done better by other cleric class casters. She was kept as a ladies compagnion in a powerfull noble family. That was, until civil unrest broke out, and the noble family had to flee the country, abandoning their castle and lands. Silvia was then found and taken in by Wismerhill and his band of friends and mercenaries. Their group was slowly growing all the time, more and more becoming an army, while taking on adventures and raids. Silvia became a core member, and with help of special items, she was able to utilitize her strong mana to benefit others. She specialized in casting aura's, a rare brand of magic which blessed all allies in a wide area with extra strength, endurance and magic protection, at cost of a part of the casters latent mana pool. Normally are aura's not that strong or big. But it was due to several legendary items, that Silvia became truly effective, even to the point of being overpowered. But many of those items come with a cost to the wearer, and are not easy to accomodate to.

Max 2 aura's active. Each aura take 40% from mana pool. Vaal auras take 80% and have a cooldown time after using them, due to their high power.
Silvia's first legendary item. Bought from a shop, for a relatively cheap price. This belt was too small for anyone to wear, as it was as big as the neck of an average person. But Silvia's slender frame, when put into a corset, could wear the belt. As she had a nice strength enchanting aura but with a small radius, this belt allowed her to become effective with her aura's, and also allowed her to stay at a save distance away from the actual fight.
It was the first time that Silvia became useful, although she had to wear a difficult piece of clothing to do so. The effects of the belt basically forced her to wear the belt and a corset permanently, as you cannot predict when a dangerous situation will occur. But living in a noble family for a long time, made Silvia already accustomized to wearing corsets. Paying back the group in this way, for taking care of her, wearing the belt was a small price to pay for her.

The group of Wishmerhill found a nice treasure of gold and valuables when they were dealing with some local demihuman landlords, and raided one of their strongholds. Several rare items and armors were available, and one of them were the Skyforth Support Lotus Shoes.
As they were appraised in town, it became clear only Silvia could benefit well from the enchantments on the shoes. But of course she could not fit them, as the Lotus shoes were way too small for even her.
But it was known that some dark elves could mold living flesh. It was decided by Wishmerhills group that one of those elven witch doctors would mould her feet to be able to fit those lotus boots. Silvia would lose her ability to walk long distances, and had to be transported by horse or cart from then onward. Silvia basically had to sacrifice her freedom, to allow others to dominate in strength and speed in- and outside battle. Silvia didnt want her feet to be compressed, but she was sedated and the operation was done regardless of her objections. She was afterward a long time sulking over it, although it subsided once she got somewhat used to her new feet, and she discovered she could still walk in them, only just more slowly. What Silvia annoyed the most, was that her way of walking attracted a lot of male attention. But Wishmerhill made it very clear to everyone that their end would be gruesome, if anyone in their group would do as much as harassing her in any inapprociate way against her wishes.

Silvia's first weapon item which she could use, even if it was to her dissapointment only a fan which sucked at casting spells. She normally blew up or damaged every wand due to her abnormally high mana, Silvia was thus unable to cast effectively spells. But this Void Fan type wand was able to handle her mana. It sucks in attack power, but was good in using her mana for aura's and Energy Shields. And finally she got something which was not hampering her in some way or another. This item was traded for with some merchants as a collectors item. Some intimidating looks from the more imposing members of Wishmerhills ground made the price reasonable enough. Nobody want their little auramancer to be dissapointed, thus she got the fan.

This heavy Necklace item was found in a crypt, when the group of Wishmerhill was exterminating a small army of undead inside an undead city. Much gold was found in that raid, and many members of the group could get their hands on magic rings and necklaces of some sort. Along the treasures, was also a set of golden coils, designed to be worn around the neck. This ornament was a legendary item, with an excellent enchantment. It transformed any personal Energy Shield into a sphere which would cover a certain area. Silvia was not a frontline supporter, and she didnt really need such a strong defensive item which was more designed to soak up projectile damage, but being it also an item with so many restrictions, Wishmerhill was hard pressed to find someone else wanting to use these coils.
Silvia also didnt like it to have another hard to wear item on her body, but in an earlier fight she had narrowly escaped an attack on her. Especially projectiles could hurt her, and being under a strong Energy shield would save her, as evading or running away from such dangers was not an option any more with her Lotus shoes. The leaders of Wishmerhills group also figured that if her shield could become strong enough, she could even shield other casting members from harm. Her shield was not at that point right now, but she would at least not be so vulnerable any more.
The rings were a more or less permanent item on Silvia, as putting them on or off was a daunting task of 2 hours work, and required the help of a maid. It was at this point, that Silvia got the permanent help of two maids, to aid her in her needs.

This extravagant looking ballgown was found when the castle of Duke Gramont was conquered. His wife had this dress in her wardrobe. After her younger years, she never worn it any more, as the tightly cut gown can only fit over a tightly pulled in corset. It was their loss, as the enchantments of the gown could have aided the Gramonts in defending their castle.
Wishmerhill gave it to Silvia, as she can wear this gown relatively easy. The wide skirt do hamper her movements a bit, but her Energy Shield is doubled in strength and her aura abilities are supported. Silvia was later on complaining to Wishmerhill about having to wear the dress all the time and it being cumbersome, but Wishmerhill was strict about it. He wouldnt allow to compromise the safety of his army over a girl being bored with her dress, as taking it off came with a penalty of having a few hours no aura's available for everyone.
The dress itself was actually very strong and suitable for daily wearing, as you could clean and repair it easely, even when it was still being worn. It also kept the wearer always dry and warm where it covered the body, whatever the outside circumstances.

This ornament was buyed by one of Wishmerhills friends from an auction of a church in need of funds. It had some ridiculous enchantments with extremely high Charisma requirements, but the guy knew that Silvia actually had that kind of Charisma. When they let Silvia try the gemstone gloves, she could reach level two of the Charisma enchantments, and thus double her Energy Shield and aura radius. And it would become even stronger, if they could find way's to improve Silvia's Charisma further.

The Lightbringer Gemstone Gloves came with some penalties, but Silvia was glad she could still use her Void Battery Fan, as it was considered a wand. And she was not much in labor or cooking anyway, so not much was lost there for her.

The true downside for Wishmerhills group was, that the Gemstone Gloves had so many valuable gems on them, and was so expensive, that it would attract a lot of greed and envy from other people. Combined with its penalty on the Energy Shield being down for four hours when taken off, -or being put on for that matter-, it would mean that Silvia had to wear the gloves all the time, and had to be permanently guarded against thieves. She was by now becoming the center of Wishmerhills army, -an important keystone-, which could make or break his battle results. Thus an entire regiment of 200 elite soldiers was tasked with guarding her, and put partically under her command, as long as it did not compromise her safety.

When the battle of three towns happen, and the old king and his army was defeated, Whismerhill became king of Tordun. When the palace of the old king was raided, Whismerhills troops encountered again fierce resistance from the queen and her magicans. Especially her Parasol granted the old queen some powerfull boons, and only when Wishmerhills friends themself helped their troops out, they were able to defeat the queen. From her dead body, they claimed several rare and legendary items, and one of them was the Esh Visage Parasol Shield.


The Esh Visage is a strange hybrid item, which is both a wand, a shield and a mace. It does use mana to be used as a mace or a shield, and would be best suited for a magically inclined person, with a large mana pool. While the old queen certainly made good use of the parasol, Silvia could get even more out of the item, as it would allow someone without strength to still have some way for physical attacks or defending himself from close range attacks. The parasol was also a wand, and because of that Silvia could use it with her Lightbringer Gemstone Gloves. The most remarkable thing was that against large opponents, Silvia could become the best tank in the army. The Esh Visage was extremely good in absorbing blunt damage, migating all kinetic energy from the blow in the parasol itself, so that the user never suffers from any impact or knockback.

The Scourge declared war against Wishmerhill, and he was forced to enter the land of the undead, to defeat their endless armies. At one of the final battles, the undead capital was razed and plundered by Wishmerhills troops, and a massive treasure was found. In fact, so much trasure was found, it made up for the costs of the entire war.
They also found that day a piece of armor with great aura boosting capabilities suitable for an auramancer. A great boost for Wishmerhills army, but the belt would be despised by Silvia to no end. The Divination Spike-point Belt, in fact a Chaste belt for pure maidens, with several extremely powerfull aura enchantments and some immunities. Wishmerhill insisted on it that she started to wear the belt, and thus it was forcefully put on her body.  Silvia was swearing and moping for many day's, being frustrated and stuffed and unable to do anything about it. But eventually she had to accept that another freedom was taken away, and her body adjusted to the new situation. The Chaste belt also had a benefit for Silvia. Going to the toilet was always a lengthy and difficult process, and required the help of her maids. The belt now took care of her body needs, as long as her lower orifices were filled up. Due to Silvia's now very large aura, it now covers multiple miles, and would completely boost any army no matter its size or position. Silvia could even be quite some distance away, staying low profile, while the real battle happen elsewhere. Silvia could not deny the Chaste belts usefullness in that regard, but any comment on that touchy subject still ends with her getting yelling or throwing items to people their head.

Inside the palace of Tordun was found a secret chamber. It belonged to the old queen of Tordun, and had several personal items and pieces of art stored inside it. Most of those things were clothing and paintings of some sort, and focussed mostly on beauty and couture, and showed the old queens wastefull habits.
One item was interesting though, it was a ladies Harlequin mask. It was made of Ivory of a legendary beast, and had the unique trait that any damage caused by attacks was partially transferred to the wearers magic reserves. And the better the wearers magic pool was, the stronger the reduction become. Research on the item by Wishmerhills court magicans showed it could recieve further enchantments, and Wishmerhill promptly ordered to do so. With several useful buffs on energy shield and mana, the item was considered most suitable for Silvia.
Lucky for silvia, the mask had not heavy penalties, -unlike so many of her other equipments-, and she didn't have to wear the mask all the time. But Wishmerhill did order Silvia to wear the mask every time she was in public, and even more when she was serving in the army, as the mask increased Silvia's survivability by a great margin. Inititally Silvia didn't like it to have to wear a mask when going outside, but when she was wearing it, she felt strangely save and secure inside her pretty-faced shell, and wearing didn't feel as bad as some of her other items. The mask itself seemed to become a better fit to her head every time she was wearing it, and it was like it took more and more on the shape of her face. Every time it was less noteable to Silvia she was wearing it, and she was becoming more like a living doll, a pretty ornament for a wealthy king.

After battle with a neighbouring country, and succesfully conquering it after a 2 year lasting war, Wishmerhill had a lot of land and titles to give to his loyal inner circle. In previous rounds of titles, Silvia was always deemed too soft and weak for controlling and maintaining her own territory. But this time Wishmerhill finally decided to grant Silvia too with her own title and a large piece of land on one of the borders of Wishmerhills empire. While his other friends would get new lands in the new country, Silvia would get the combined land of two Barons on the Northeast border where the situation was more stable. He would also station there a large part of his own royal armies, as there was tension between country Posmark and Wishmerhills newly formed nation. The Royal army could always benefit from Silvia's presence and loyalty when defening the border from invading enemy forces. Several trusted advisors and magistrates were also tasked by Wishmerhill to aid Silvia in ruling her large domain. And thus she became Marchioness Silvia, the female variant of a Marquess.

All the promotions were done with extravagant celebrations, and in a grande gala party all newly promoted nobles were to be presented to the world. Wishmerhills wife Carmina made the suggestion that Silvia's figure could also use some promotions, just like her political promotion. It was figured by her that with Silvia's short and delicate posture, she was more one of being admired for her cuteness and elegance, then being imposing or looking tough. So better make the strong point stronger, yes? And Carmina had ordered an custom tailored enchanted corset as a gift for Silvia, made by the best courturiers in the country. And it was improved by several of the best Seers and dwarfensmiths to make the corset offer protection and support for the wearer. One important part of the corset was the Eldritch Battery gem, which made the Energy Shield of the wearer useable as manapool for spells. It would leave the manapool itself intact, so it could be used for Silvia's protection.
Not that Silvia cared at that time, as the corset was also very demanding to wear. It narrowed her ribcage a lot more then Silvia's older corsets, and the shoulder traps kept her posture ramrod erect. Perhaps good for official parties to leave a good impression, but it was certainly not easy for Silvia to wear all day. As Wishmerhills wife was a demonic Succubus, Silvia suspected Carmina of taking delight in watching her suffering from all restraints imposed on her poor body.
But WIshmerhill had made some positive comments on her new slender frame, and thus it was an unspoken but clear command to her to keep her appearance that way, and to find a way to get used of being crushed and unable to breath properly. And the instrument of torture had to be fully closed, otherwise its enchantments were not functional. Not like Silvia cared about that. But the advisors and generals of Silvia liked her aura's to be as strong as possible. They ordered to quickly modify all her dresses, so they would only fit with her new corset.

Being a Machioness now, Silvia was espected to act on a regular base in public, and to travel sometimes for negotiation, overseeing orders and other leadership things. But with Silvia's new corset, her mobility and stamina was now at a all-time low, and she was easely exhausted, and slow to walk around. Her restricted and compressed body also hampered her ability to react on situations, or even something simple as looking around. Silvia's advisors reported this to Wishmerhills advisors, as a solution had to be found. Taking off the most limiting items was not an option here. The court wizards of Wishmerhill eventually came with a solution in the form of the Timeless Artifice, -an device attached to the wearers back-, which would allow Silvia to move around using her magic and to have better awareness or her surroundings. It works mostly like any aura would, in that it just take a part of the users mana pool or regeneration to keep an ability active. It would allow Silvia to move around without getting exhausted, and to be better aware of everyone around her. When needed in battle, she could just shut it down in favor on an extra aura. The Timeless Artifice even had a nifty defensive ability with a Phasing ability, so even if someone would suprise Silvia in close combat, she could shift to an astral form for a short time, and escape the situation.

For a long time, Silvia had done with her Skyforth Lotus Shoes. Being legendary items, it was very hard for any manufactorer or arcane enchanter to make better footwear then Silvia's Skyforth Lotus Shoes.
But Silvia's elegant feet inspired woman in some rich families to get themself lotus feet, and a business in lotus shoes started to delevop, with many male admirers to follow as well, manufactoring many of those shoes and developing them for many occasions. One of those shoe manufactorers eventually created Silvia's Pungyan Golden Lotus Boots. There was so much attention and skill put in those boots, -in the full year that it took to create them-, that they were very suitable for enchanting. The Skyforth Lotus Shoes were used as a template, and a lot of enchantments could be transferred from it, and sometimes even strengthened a bit for the new shoes.
Silvia liked the looks of her new shoes, and was very pleased with the smooth appearance they gave to her legs. But the trendy heel on the sole made walking not easier. The stiffer sole and more snug boot did give more support to her feet while standing, but the heels made Silvia's steps even smaller. But in the end it was not really a problem, as Silvia was usually moving around with her Floating ability.

The pope of their continent had declared Whismerhill an heretic, and united several countries against them to throw them over. Wishmerhill did have a Succubus as a wife, but it had probably more to do with Wishmerhill taking over several countries so far, and ignoring the pope his complaints or perhaps Whismerhills friends calling him a fart.

With help of Silvia's aura's, the armies of the smaller countries were easely fended of, but the pope and his army of crusaders were a force who took a heavy toll on Wishmerhills army. They narrowly escaped a defeat by taking out several enemy auramancers of the priestly orders.

It was in that battle, that Silvia's aura was basically cancelled out, due to opposing aura's of the priests. They countered mainly with negative aura's which nullified Silvia's positive aura, while their aura's positive effects stayed active. Most priests destroyed their magical artifacts when they were captured, to prevent them from falling into enemy hands. But in one case Wishmerhills troops managed to get their hands on an aura artifact.

The Viridian Jewel of Longevity, an air stone encased in a platium sphere, which had the ability to automatically spread curses inside the casters aura radius. The Jewel also provided a moderate self-healing ability to the wearer, and removed the need of breathing, as long as the Jewel was worn inside the mouth. The only downside was that upon removal of the jewel, the wearer suffered from reduced mana regeneration for a full day.

Wishmerhill decided that the item would go to Silvia, as she was the main auramancer of his army. Silvia did not have to wear this artifact a lot, only when going to a battle there was actual need for this item. But when visiting Whismerhill and his friends at his palace, Carmina insisted on many occasions for Silvia to wear her full attire, which would include the Viridian Jewel. Carmina made comments how it shaped her cheeks so nicely, and how it made her cute and adorable. By now Silvia was sure that Carmina took delight in her suffering and placing restrictions upon her. But the heavy penalties imposed on Silvia when the Viridian Jewel had to be removed, prevented too much abuse by Carmina. Someone can only go so long without eating and drinking, and the penalties were too heavy to abuse the Jewel outside the relatively save royal palace.

In the aftermath of taking control of the territory of the former pope, Wishmerhills friends had to conquer several city states. As more cities and strongholds from Romalia were razed and the new land was put under his firm control, everyone came home overloaded with trasures and artifacts. Not all artifacts were useable, or at best not useable right away, and the shiny Praetor Emerald Tiara was such an item.
But Carmina discovered that it had a nifty ability. Magic Message, an ability which would grant the wearer to speak to others without using his voice. Silvia was right, Carmina loved it to see the introvert girl struggle with all the restricting items. But she succesfully avoided to wear that Viridian Jewel, as it would not only hamper eating, but would also be in the way of speaking and Silvia leading her domain. And that would not do for Carmina. That Viridian Jewel, that golden gag had find its place more permanently in the girls mouth. And the Praetor Emerald Tiara would help with that, and Carmina ordered to enchant and improve the Tiara further by their magicans, no matter the expense.
With the expansion of Whismerhills empire, everyone of the inner circle was granted with new lands inside Romalia, and also Silvia got her share. Everything was again celebrated with a big party, lots of drinking, and of course presents. Carmina let Wishmerhill give the beautiful tiara to Silvia, and after some happy testing if Magic message was working properly, someone made 'not really by accident' the suggestion to test it together with the Viridian Jewel. And thus Silvia ended up that evening with having the Jewel all evening and night in her mouth. But it would not end there, as Carmina had ordered some alchemists to develop nutrious gavage, which could be fed to Silvia through her mask by a flexible tube. This provide everyone with a solution for the heavy mana penalty imposed by the Viridian Jewel. Especially the admirals and royal advisors were pleased of this smart solution, and although Whismerhill took some pity in the burdened girl as she begged to not have to wear the Jewel all the time, to let down such amount of power for some small discomfort was deemed unwise by the court, and Whismerhill enforced the decision to make the Jewel also an military artifact which had to be permanently deployed. And thus Silvia went back to her estate without her voice, or ability to taste food ever again. And she also lost her ability to use common wizard spells. Her advisors got clear instructions from Whismerhills court to never remove the Jewel from her cheeks, lest they would be charged with high treason, for compromising Whismerhills army.

Being home again, Silvia plummeted right into a depression. Her court and gouverment were celebrating the expansion of their domain, and the increase in wealth and influence it would bring. But Silvia missed it being able to eat normally, and she also lost any and all magic offensive power, being unable to use her own voice. Common magic spells usually require a voice and a focus, and without one of those, you cannot use active spells. And the girlish but slightly mechanical sounding mind voice from the Praetor Tiara was cast inside people their head, and was not a real voice in any way. Thus Silvia just had become totally defenseless.

Once the celebrations ceased, Silvia's advisors started to form a new gouvernment. Their territory had become so much bigger, that it was a country on itself, and they needed ministers and such.

As Silvia was quite passive these day's due to her depression, the advisors took their chance, and reformed the gouvernment to a parlementair monarchy. If it was not for Whismerhill, they would have cut down Silvia's power, but knewing he would not accept that, they gave her absolute right to veto laws, and any law had to pass her judgement. But the advisors knew the machioness would sign most things easy, and the country was still mostly their to control and rule, as minister jobs were divided between them. But some advisors knew Silvia was in her heart a dependable and good girl, and she was better to trust on the long term, then most of the greedy politicians. With Silvia being so dependent now on personal care, and having no means to defend herself, she was not able to act independently from her waitresses and guardians. Silvia needed a means to defend herself again. The court magicans who were in this small royalist party, sugested to go for items which had a magic ability build in them.

They managed to inform some of Wishmerhills friends as well, and one of them brought them a Prismatic Fan, which was able to have spells etched into its base. They eventually smuggled it succesfully into Silvia's castle, and into her hands. And after several showy demonstrations, which left quite a few smoldered ministers and advisors in her wake, Silvia was taken serious again as machioness, at least regarding politic affairs. She had to take out a few of the most corrupt ministers from office, and some things didn't went without resistance, but that is a story for another time.

After the war with the pope, a period of relative peace started for Whismerhill and his friends. Of course there were some rebellions to deal with inside their empire, and some of them punished the offenders in gruesome way’s, and kept an iron control over their domains.
Compared to that, the people inside Silvia’s domain had quite some freedom, and she never had to deal with unrest for a decade. In fact, she even had to take in some refugees from other domains due to suppression and unrest there, as Silvia’s land was considered as one of the most save and stable areas. Thanks to trading and the production of valuable windstones and iron from their mines, they had a flourishing economy and well maintained cities.
The common people even started to love their eccentric and introvert ruler, as she passed on fair laws, taxes were not too high, and applied justice on the rich and poor people in equal terms.

There was great demand of Windstones on the continent, as windships used them to travel in air. Silvia was known as a reliable ruler, and a few of the oversea countries decided to open new trading pacts exclusively with her. As a visiting diplomatic party with a request, it was common habit in politics to bring a gift for the reigning ruler to please him or her. Normally it is expensive furniture of some sort, which represent the wealth in some way of the country or noble who is giving the present. But the dignitaries of the country of Albion, -under command of the king of Albion-, decided to give Silvia a rare piece of jewellery instead, as Silvia was known well for her strange habits and appearance. The foreign nobles knew she was a magic girl, and a powerfull auramancer. But they were thinking that she just liked to dress herself that way, and not that it was mostly other people’s doing.

The king of Albion decided to give her this artifact, which came straight from the royal family fault. As it was a belt, but a very small one, it had to be worn on the waist to have the enchantments properly working.

The belt was very small in diameter, 2 inches tall, perfectly circulair, and made from absolutely unyielding titanium-chromium-wolfraam alloy. Being magically created by an unknown earth mage, the item was highly enchantable, but there was not yet much done on the belt. The Belt did have a very usefull one, and that was Void Barrier. But that enchantment only worked if someone could close the belt around him. And nobody was ever able to close it around him or her, for several generations, making it an pretty but worthless item to the royal family of Albion.


And thus the nobles were allowed to give the belt to Silvia as a present. The belt had the same diameter as SIlvia's waist, but it would make her waist have that diameter for 2 inches tall, and shaped it into a perfect circle. But the next day there would be a gala party, and it would be rude to not wear her gift. One of Silvia's court mages was an earth mage, and he saw that the belt had affinity to have more enchantments, and that it could support the ones etched on Silvia's current one. That night the earth mage succesfully transferred the enchantments from the old belt to the new titanium one. And the next morning was Silvia fitted with her new belt, despite her complains that it would be too tight for her. But the advisors and dressers rather dealed with Silvia, then with Whismerhill, if he would discover that they let Silvia slip on power. Without her Fabulous Fan or Esh Visage Parasol, -which were wisely hidden by the servants before the dressing would start-, there was nothing she could do to stop them. The room maids slowly screwed the belt shut on her waist during the day, so she could show her figure that evening to the dignitaries. Silvia's waist was numb for three weeks afterward before getting accustomized to its new dimensions, and she didn't talk to her court mages for three more weeks.

After a decade of ruling her country, the parlement decided to celebrate their machioness by holding a national party. Most commoners outside the city Lhynn were just happy with the relatively good time and safety their leaders provided, but the citizens from the main city Lhynn really liked Silvia, her strange, somewhat earie beauty, her fair judgement ,but mostly importantly the safety she provided, as Silvia blessed all city guardians and other authorities which allowed them to do their job more efficient. Crime had never been so low in the cities history. Part of the celebrations would be a big tour with their monarch through the city, and a military parade to show the world their powerfull army, and the strength which Silvia could provide to them.
As the festivities were prepared, the upperclass of Lhynn also gathered funds for a present for their cekebrated ruler. As a military march was to be held, the generals voiced their concern that Silvia’s presence would draw a lot of foreign attention too, and that they would watch and measure their military strength. And most of their military power on the field was only viable as long as Silvia was supporting them. The generals concluded that if their Marchuess had to get a present, it should be something which would improve her powers as well.
But it was no secret that Silvia did not like many of the artifacts she was wearing. And legendary artifacts were hard to come by for normal nobles, and more so for ones with appreciate aura enchantments. But from Whismerhills capital they could order for a new custom-made magic mask, which would take over existing enchantments of an existing item, and also had possibly a few itself as well, although they would only set, when worn for the first time by their first wearer.

In a big ceremony in Lhynn was Silvia's old mask changed and replaced by the new mask, and upon setting the mask on her face, the final unset aura enchantments would become known to everyone. The aura enchantment turned out to be protection against diseases, which would benefit anyone inside Silvia's aura, regardless position, friend or foe.
The mask itself was sculpted to fit perfectly over Silvia's head, and it also accomodated the Viridian Jewel and the feeding of Gavage through her nose, without ever having the need to take of the mask. The more precise fit improved also her eye sight, but it too blocked Silvia from opening her jaw as it followed closely the contours of her face. Silvia liked her new appearance a lot though, and so did the public when the tour was held, and the new mask shown to the world for the first time. Some commoners already considered her almost to be a godess, and started to worship her on the tour. Both her radiant healing powers and her surreal beauty caused estasic reactions from citizens. But things went a bit out of hand, when it became known to the public that everyone inside Silvia's aura was protected against common, non-magical diseases, thanks to her new mask. And her aura already covering the entire city and a wide area around it, this boon added to her aura meaned it was a life changing event for many people. Being worshipped was not a first time for Silvia, but she usually discouraged such behaviour. But on the tour through the inner city, it was not possible to stop every excessive behaviour from the citizen. The gift from her nobles and generals had turned out differently then everyone espected. Not much military gain as some generals had hoped for, but it would make more people then ever depending on Silvia's latent power. And thus more responsability whether to take something of her body or not, as it would influence possibly thousends of people. Silvia's body and powers were now even more a public property, and there was even less chance now for her to be freed from some supressing garments, as she was so much longing for.

A few years after the celebrations, things were still going strong for Silvia's empire. With the effects from her aura, and her more liberal gouvernment, Silvia's main city Lhynn quickly became the second largest city in Whismerhills empire. The city was quickly gaining on magic education, universities and a well delevoped textile industry.
But not all the domains in Whismerhill did well, as not all of Whismerhills old friends were equally suited to lead a country. Where Silvia did much better then people espected, others did a much poorer job, and could only reign by violence and supression. But another difference was that she was a slow aging elf breed, and thanks to her own powers her aging even came to a stand still. But most of Whismerhill friends were only human, or very mortal demi-human. And time was not gentle on them as with Silvia.
Ghontet was the first to passed away. He was actually one of the more decent rulers, and in the old day's always took care of Silvia as a father to a daughter. Land could be passed on from father to son, if Whismerhill allowed it, but Ghontet never had legimate children. So his lands went back to Whismerhill, who kept it under royal control.
Ghontat did left Silvia a small heritage. A prismatic Jewel, put on a broche of moonsilver and mythril. And a letter from him, that warned Silvia that Whismerhill was also mortal, and that she should prepare for the day that Whismerhill was too old to protect his empire. Ghontat told her that there was good chance that an ursurper would take over the crown at such time, and that it would likely mean the end of the empire as it was. The letter also told her that Carmina and many other officials inside the inner court of Whismerhill deemed her a strong and credible threat, and kept Whismerhill from doing any more that would improve her power. That is why Ghontat gave her the gem. There was a risk that she would be the first to be declared a traitor, or otherwise tricked into war, and he wanted Silvia prepared for that.

Ghontat's hope was that Silvia would outlast everyone, and continue the empire after Whismerhill passed away.

Whismerhill was on his deathbed, when he called for Silvia and a few other of his old friends to travel to the palace for a secret meeting. He too was realizing that his council was slowly getting corrupt, and that Carmina would become a threat once he would have passed away. And her son appeared to have the same traits as his mother, and as things were now, it would spell disaster for the empire. As brittle as Whismerhill was right now, he was not able any more to transfer major amounts of land or titles to his old comrades, as such things would also have to pass the council and Carmina. But what Whismerhill did, was telling them to unite their strength, and he handed out a few of his personal weapons and magical artifacts. Once Whismerhill would pass away, they had to declare their own nation. Waiting would only lead to Carmina revoking titles and taking them out one by one.
Silvia got the Enceladus Parasol Shield from Whismerhill. He had it for a long time in his vault, but he and Carmina deemed it too powerfull to be used by magicans. It had massive mana requirements, but those who could use it, would become magic tanks. Both at short and long range.
This item would allow Silvia to stand between her army, and not behind them. And assasinations would become close to impossible with this Parasol in the way.

Once Whismerhill passed away, Carmina was rather quick with demanding all lands back from Whismerhills core friend, as she wanted to install her own Abyssal friends on the spots. Of course nobody went along with that, and these events marked the start of the Abbysal war.
Several of Whismerhill friends banded with Silvia, as with her aura everyone had the best chance to overthrow Carmina. They decided to attack the capital city of Whismerhills empire and current main site of Carmina's power.
 
This dress was created by Silvia's courtiers and enchanted by her own magicans to aid her in the oncoming siege on the capital town. In itself was the dress only a slight improvement over the previous dresses, as it granted a small improvement in Energy shield, aura's and statistics. But the mages considered the best improvement the addition of the itemskill Magnus Excorsismus. It would give Silvia an important tool against the undead and demon hordes they would face in battle. But the dress was also a historical steppingstone to a entirely new fighting mode for Silvia, although nobody realized that yet. It was thanks to the other itemskill Stardust Bomb. The magicans added it as an artillery addition, but its usage would mean that Silvia could only shoot a few shots, or she had to shut down several Auras to regenerate mana. Her auras were considered far more important in the coming battle, and the Stardust Bomb was seen as a secondary skill. The Stardust Bomb would become more important in the future, as it would allow Silvia to delevop a new fighting mode.

The battle for Whismerhills friends didn't go well. They did took the capital city over, but suffered heavy losses for it on their armies. Carmina then opened several portals to the Abyss, and hundred thousends of demons invaded the country. Two of Whismerhills friends fell in battle, and Silvia had to retreat with the remainder of her forces back to her domain. But when invasion in her own lands was about to happen, neighbouring friendly countries also appeared with their armies inside Silvia's land. They all considered Carmina now as a continental threat. But even with all forces combined, Carmina's demons still outnumbered them, and the area where battle was taking places, transformed from a classical war into weeks lasting trenches warfare.


Silvia could use bombardment magic to support their side, but her aura's were also needed. It was then, that one of the commanders from Germania, -one of the helping allied countries-, handed her something discreetly along with a message from the king of Germania with permission to use the item. It was a Romalian artifact, stolen from the church when the Capital city was raided in the war against the pope. Sephuz Secret promised a great powerboost for the one with enough mana, and would allow Silvia to do the double task of artillery and being an auramancer. She initially refused, as the dreaded object was a lot bigger then what she was wearing already. But her commanders pressured her to put it in, by telling Silvia that their men were dying without support from magical artillery. The combination of being so tightly laced, and now with more pressure from below, distracted Silvia's for several day's. Artillery shootings didn't go too well in the first few day's for her, as she had a lot of trouble with concentrating, especially when using bombardment magic. Silvia felt Sephuz Secret every time tickling her bowels when she was using her high power skills. It was infuriating, as Silvia knew she couldn't relief herself in any way, and she had to deal with the frustration all day long. But eventually she got used to the sensations somewhat, and as the trenches war continued, the accuracy of her artillery fire became better and better. She could launch every 5 minutes a salvo of Stardust Bombs. After two months of battle, they managed to drive out Carmina's demons from Silvia's domain. War was still not over, but at least Carmina's progression was halted, and Silvia's land was saved.

Silvia got told that she could indefinitely keep Sephuz Secret, as her presence on the battlefield saved so many lives, and Carmina still had to be beaten. Everyone knew the item helped her mana regeneration, but nobody knew the item did far more. Sephuz's Secret was incredible strong in combination with Silvia's Clear Mind Mask. The combination of items, made Silvia's mana protect her completely like an extra shield, placed under her Void Shield. And even if there were a very few things which could pierce magic shields, her mana would protect her, although it was not really a shield, it did act that way now. And Silvia's mana pool was usually almost full, as her active auras and spells took mostly from her mana regeneration. Perhaps not a true tank, but Silvia knew she was no longer a soft target in close combat, even if she was physical still very weak. And after a few months wearing it, she learned to ignore the sensations down there. Well, at least in public. Excessive use of her powers during the day, means her maids needed to do a lot of cleaning at evening, and they had to massage a lot of build-up frustration away. But taking the torturous item out was actually dangerous, as it would deplete Silvia's mana and disable her regeneration of mana. It would leave her defenseless for several day's, which was very dangerous to her and everyone around her, if anything would happen with all auras down.

Silvia's Stardust Bombs were great for their massive destructive capabilities, but after several cases of friendly fire due to Silvia losing sight of her Stardust missiles, some generals considered Silvia's role as longrange attacker to be of limited value. They knew she could only attack during the day, and had to keep sight of her mssiles or they would go ballistic. This also posed a threat for Silvia herself, as she was a high value target to the enemy. And knowing she killed her people several times, made her reluctant to use her Stardust Bombs.

The magicans of the millitary prosposed to the kings of the allied countries, to bring several rare trickets with detection skills from their countries together, and merge them in a new item for Silvia to use. This would allow Silvia to be aware of her surroundings beyond her mortal eye sight. Paired up with a means to hear on distance as well, this would allow people on the field to call for help, and ask for precision bombardments.

The kings of the three allied countries, Germania, Gallia and Albion, decided to bring the required items in their possesion together and let the magicans work on it. They allowed it, as their idea was that it did not do much for making Silvia more magically powerfull, it would only allow her detection and overview.

Silvia herself was glad the magicans finally came with something which was for once not restricting or distracting her in some way. The Ephemeral Paradox was the first item for Silvia without drawbacks, or reasons for her to dislike it.

After five years of war, the allied countries finally managed to defeat Carmina's abyssal army, and killed her inside Whismerhills old palace. As most of Whismerhills old friends had passed away or lost most of their influence or land to Carmina, only Silvia was left over as major power from the era of Whismerhill. In the following negotiations, it was agreed on, that three of the allied countries got a part of Whismerhills old domain. Two quite large duchies declared themself independent, and a sixth area was given to Silvia. A good part of former Romalia was also restored as an independent kingdom, and so came Whismerhills empire to an end. Silvia was still officially a Machioness, but her land and influence was now on par with the the major countries on the continent. The major powers were not too happy with the rebellious duchies, but everyone was tired of war, and resources and menpower was pretty much depleted.


Whismerhills palace was raided and destroyed in the aftermath of the war, and all of its valuables was raided by the winners. Unbeknown to Silvia, her magicans and soldiers took also part in that, and they found an item inside one of Carmina's vaults. It was a Dollmakers Cuff, and was clearly designed for Silvia. But the item was probably too good, as it was never imposed on her back then. Silvia's magicans managed to smuggle the legendary item unseen out the castle, and decide to keep this item away from attention, until Silvia was safely back in her own home.

Only when she was home for a month, they presented her the item. They didn't told her that it was found in Carmina's possesion. It was known to Silvia's oldest magicans and advisors, that Silvia suffered from Carmina, and that the Succubus forced all kind of restricting stuff upon her in those old day's, and teased her with it. This item would also do something on her, but if Silvia would hear it came from Carmina, she would refuse to wear it.

A few day's later was Silvia's gloves changed for the Dollmakers Watch Cuffs. She liked the intricate looks of it, but was horrified once she found out she couldnt use her thumbs. The cuffs folded her thumbs in her handpalm, rendering them entirely useless. When watched from front, her hands would appear very small and dainty, but she now could only use her fingers to awkwardly grab things. Technically she could still use a wand, but aiming with it would be horrible. Silvia's fan and homing skills wouldn't likely suffer from it, but as normal magican, she was rendered useless again. And for any daily task, she would require help from her maids, even for something stupid like picking up a book from the table.

But her advisors were strict with her, and told her it would benefit their country, and that wearing this item was her duty toward her people, as it would allow her auras to spread even further. The cuffs allowed Silvia also to control a few magical objects, or enchanted dolls for that matter. But learning to use those to do her bidding proved quite difficult to learn. And so found the last item from Carmina its place on Silvia, submitting the girl to another suffering.

It was a few years later, and in a situation where the continent became more peacefull. One of the rebellious duchies had later joined Silvia's march, after quite a period of internal unrest and political takeovers. Although Silvia's domain was in name still a march, it was actually now a full sized kingdom. Silvia didn't care much about titles, as she found the health and prosperity of her people more important. But with a strong economy, and a trained, experienced and well equipped army at her call, Silvia had at least as much influence as the other neighbouring countries, if not even more of you looked at the economical aspects.
Dignitaries from the far away Rub El'kali also saw her country as a interesting trading partner, and when the emperor from Rub El'kali learned of Silvia's skills and appearance, he saw in her a possible bride for one of his sons. Inside Rub El'Kali was chastity, obedience and diligence highly valued for womans, and the woman inside noble ranked families were also into footbinding, as it symbolized those values.
So one a day was second son of the emperor visiting Silvia to ask for her hand, and for an alliance of both countries. With him, he brought her a gift from his country. A valuable pair of magic Lotus boots, as a present to aid his proposal. As Silvia's magicans researched the lotus boots, they saw the item was only magical grade despite the few powerfull item abilities on it. The stardust Boots could be upgraded to accomodate the enchantments of her current boots as well. But the Qa'pla Starfabric Lotus Shoes had also a crazy skill on them. The ability to fly very fast, but at extremely high mana cost.
The prince of Rub El'Kali told the court that even if that crazy manahungry skill turned out to be unusable, the starfabric would allow for better enchantments, and the boots would increase Silvia's beauty. The Lotus Boots were gifted to Silvia, whatever her decision about his proposal would be.
And as the situation was happening in front of Silvia, she knew already what would eventually happen to her. Those Stardust boots, -which looked even smaller, and more unstable then her current boots to walk in-, would end up on her poor feet. Even if her refusal to wear those boots was not rude to the prince, the council wanted the enchantments of the boots on her. And Silvia knew that in order to fit those shoes, they had to break and mold her feet again, to bring heel and sole even more together and making her feet more pointy. She knew it would be long weeks of pain for her. This was the first time, Silvia tried to run away. But it was done in an impuls that evening, and her guards cought her while she tried to leave the castle grounds. After being put in bed under strict surveillance, the magicans quickly prepared the boots that night, and the next morning was Silvia sedated, her feets broken and bound, and the new boots put on her.
Needless to say, that the hapless girl was moping for many day's, while being forced to walk long distances to hasten her feet to settle in the boots. The advisors tried to work out a marriage, as the alliance with the huge empire of Rub El'Kali had many benefits. But Silvia refused any advance of the prince on her part. She was actually more mad on her advisors, then the prince, who was a nice enough gentlemen. But it seemed to her that the council was only interested about military power and influence, and that they didn't care about what she had to endure to make that possible. But Silvia had no more interest to play in their cards, and even threaten to withdraw her auras if they would keep going on about the proposed marriage. The prince had to leave eventually, and negotiations about any engagements had to be called off.

It was many months later, that Silvia and her council discovered that she could use the flying ability of the boots if she temporary turned off a few auras. When trying it on a open field, Silvia was advised by her magicans to use her parasol to shield herself from the effects of flying so fast, and use her magical sight abilities as she couldn't use her eyesight to look in front of her while flying. Several extensive testings were done, before she was allowed to truly fly for the first time. Each test flight, her magicans allowed Silvia to go a bit faster. But nobody was truly prepared for the effects of her breaking the sound barrier for the first time. And as Silvia actually have to keep her body as stiff and stable as possible, all her garments actually aided her in doing that. Being so tightly laced and compressed all the time, meaned her body was naturally stiff and Silvia herself being used to slow and carefull movements. Flying was a pure magical exercise, and would not exhaust her physically. Silvia had just gained the ability to visit every part of her country in less then a hour.
And she still had mana to spare, and could afford to keep up some aura's or even use active skills while flying like that. The Scramjet Propulsion was using her boots as a focus, and Silvia could use her Banico Fabulous Fan for casting spells. Silvia's generals were totally baffled when she showed them she could hit a target with a huge barrage of Stardust Bombs, while flying over it with a speed of mach 2. Bombing cities, taking out groups of enemies, or maintaining air supriority. In a world where battles mainly was done by sending an army against another army, Lhynn just had gained a means to counter and annihalate the opposing force, by sending out a superfast tactical hitter and bomber. Silvia's superiour speed would allow her to outrun any magic or missile, and even then, an incredible lucky hit would still have to pass her thick Energy Shield. Even big groups of greater dragons would be powerless against her fast and destructive hits, and were in grave danger of being knocked out the air by the sonic boom of her just passing by. And as Silvia could fly at great altitudes, she could also do wide area scouting, and gather intel inside enemy territory.
The only drawback here was that all this military advancement came together into an introvert little girl, who still didn't like it that everyone was dumping all their ambitions on her. Things always turned out in such way that she was forced to do something, or to wear something more restrictive just to become more useful to others. Silvia had become so valuable now, that the attention and guarding from servants, mental caretakers, advisors and magicans only increased on her. The military staff made it a point to the council to never lose their eye's on her, and to keep her heavy guarded and under the best care possible, no matter the expense. She now had become key in the country's territorial safety in not one, but two different way's, and also made offensive options possible. Hit and run attacks, gathering intel, even options to invade other kingdoms, and bombarding their cities became possible. And all of this by a little, delicate looking, and much dolled up girl, who couldn't walk a mile without getting physically exhausted, and was unable and unfit to do even the most simple of household tasks.

It was several years later, that Silvia was to be crowned to become queen of Lhynn. Romalia's new pope gave his blessings after Lhynn nobles vowed for Silvia being raised to royalty. Lhynn had become a stable and sizable country, of roughly the same size as the large domain Germania. With a strong economy and a well equipped army, they became a worldpower which would stay for a long time. And on top of that, Silvia herself had become the kingdoms main source of power and protection. And by avoiding several engagements and requests for marriages from other princes, she had unintentionally avoided to lose her independency to another royal family. If she would have married a prince, she would have become part of their family. That would have made her a princess, but never a reigning queen, as the higher ranked prince would take that position, and become a reigning monarch.


And so she was crowned, and with a huge feast, the new nation would celebrate their new existence and legitimity. As a new royal bloodline just came into existence, the nobles of Lhynn deemed it nercessary to have also their own royal artifacts. An order for a new golden artifact was given to the troll hybrid earthmage and Thaumathurgist Two-edge, to create an artifact worthy for a queen, and with toplevel spells etched into it. The eccentric halftroll demanded on top of a hefty price in rare jewels, also certain favors from the highest ranked noble family of Lhynn, but after long negotations, Two-edge made the kingdom their artifact. As it was an item for a magic girl, it would not be a weapon, but a trinket class item. The troll decide to create a wonder of magic and engineering, a Globus Cruciger. A golden artifact which could move and act seperate from its owner, and which would float and follow her everywhere. The troll knew about Silvia's powers, and put the condensed materials of a magical vein into it, so it could provide near limitless amounts of magical energy to its owner. The materials he used were actually a kind of magic uranium, which was more toxic and dangerous the normal Uranium and could not be used in normal weapons. But the rare metal was save to use when it was encased in layers of platina and Tungsten. With mana regeneration combined with the itemskill Time Reverse, Silvia would be a force which could survive long on any battlefield. The globus would also provide excellent protection against assasinations.

Artifact is a construct-type avatar, and also count as a doll. It can move and act on its own, in order aid or protect its owner. This Avatar can use its own limited magic spells using its own mana, and can also use all auras and curses known to the owner, but not owners offensive spells. Radius of deployed auras are much smaller then its owner.

Artifact skills:

Aura Totem: Cast any aura and curse which its owner also know. The aura radius is much smaller though, and the auras will cancel if any other skill is used by the Globus Cruciger.

Fiber Laser: Fast shooting, high density spectral beam made of fire magic. It can be used to attack targets pointed out by the owner, or as a defensive measure to shoot down missiles before impact.

Negative Impact Shield: Sends a dark red shockwave around artifact. Can be used both as an offensive and defensive spell. Can be used five times a day.

Mana Regeneration: Provides fast mana healing over time. Can be used two times a day. Can only be used on others.

Causes greed. Item looks ridiculous expensive.

Silvia made every a flight, of which half of them were for gathering intel, and the other half was for practicing using her magics while flying and doing research to the limitations of her powers. As Silvia was the kingdoms only reliable means of air-to-air interceptor and tactical striker, and was able to outclass any other airship or unit, her safety and preservance was the military's highest priority. But sending Silvia on any mission, and flying at extreme speeds was with high risks. Several incidents happened, which result with two of her crashing down. The last one was worst, as she crashed while flying mach 2. Silvia only survived that crash thanks to her magical shields. But the crash was nearly fatal for Silvia, and that was not even at her maximum possible speed. Her Void Shield was entirely gone, and her mana was almost completely drained, and she still suffered from concussion and a broken arm. Research after what happened, revealed that Silvia had become unstable, when she shifted and moved her body, while flying that fast. Someone can only hold his body in one position for so long, and flying for a longer time came with risks.
Thus the magicans and military researcher came to the conclusion that Silvia's body had to be made stiffer, or it would be unsave to let her fly for longer times. The adjustments also had to improve her armor and shielding further, so that she, -in case of a crash-, still would survive such an event. To make Silvia better suited for flying a long time, a new dress and corset had to be delevoped. 

The magical materials used for the corset came from the halftroll Two-edge, and was some kind of fine-woven metallic fabric. The halftroll called it Tungsten fiber, a kind of metal which was harder and tougher then steel, and also more resistant to wearing and exposure to body fluids and weather. The most important feature for the magicans was that it was more easely enchantable then Silvia's current shapewear. But when they showed Silvia their masterpiece, she was not enthausiast. The corset would encase her entire ribcage, and would keep her body entirely in its grip and shaped it in a sleek v-shape. Initially Silvia refused it to wear it. But the royal advisors told her that she was not allowed to fly any more, unless she took the nercessary steps to make it more save. They had taken the Timeless Artifice from her, with the excuse that it was for her own safety. And after two weeks of refusal to wear the new corset, Silvia eventually gave in, and tried the corset. Once it was put on her, it crushed her torso mercilessy into a sleek cone. It was stiff and unyielding, as the makers intended. And to her horror, Silvia discovered she couldn't breath. She couldn't make breathing motions at all, and realize she would have suffocated, if not for the Viridian Jewel of Longevity. That thing kept her now immobile lungs still filled with fresh air. But now that the horrible thing was tightened on her, the courtiers didn't want to take it off her. They wanted her to try her new dress as well, and tried calming the horrified girl. She realized she was tricked into something she was going to deeply regret, and was unable to stop it from happening to her right now. It was to Silvia as if the whole universe was again plotting to make her life as miserable as possible.

The manhours put into the Royal dress were staggering, but the results were a marvel of beauty and magical engineering combined like nothing ever before. And even Silvia couldn't deny, any girl would be happy to be allowed to wear a gown like that one. The requirements to put it on her body were steep, but even Silvia almost deemed the dress worth the suffering her corset gave her.
But as the dress was put on her, it were not maids helping her, but magicans. The dress had to be magically closed on her body, and to have the enchantments in effect. The dress had to become an extension of her body. And as the magicans were busy for 2 hours to close the dress on her, Silvia realized that the dress wouldn't come off, unless again such procedure was done on her. She was going to be stuck into this dress and corset for a very long time.
When Silvia was presented to the court in her new dress, the reactions from her people were enthausiast. She had to be helped by servants with sitting and standing motions, as her body was as stiff as a piece of wood. It was totally inflexible, and Silvia figured it was going to take a long time to get used enough to the corset to do those simple motions herself without aid of any floating ability. With the big dress on her was going to bed, -like any normal person would do-, another impossibility to her. Her skirt was much too volumous and would be in the way of lying down properly. But Silvia needed her rest as any other person. Sleeping while using her Floating Acrobatics was possible for her. But the skill sometimes reacted on dreams, and could send her facefirst in walls or let her knock over furniture while drifting off. So the servant prepared a board, which would fixate her upper body and head in a vertical position, so she could relax her muscles. With Silvia's floating ability turned on, she would be effectively weightless, yet still secured to her spot.

Being tied up like that by her servants, and left alone for the night, the girl started to realize she was more and more becoming a doll. Highly regarded and treasured by everyone, yes, But it were others who always decided what she did and what she was wearing. She had not tasted real food or drinks for several decades, only gavage was ever fed to her ever since Carmina imposed the Viridian Jewel on her. And now she couldn't breath at all, her entire torso being immobilized. Yet the cursed Viridian Jewel made sure to keep her alive and healthy. And with the dress magically sealed on her body, she realized she would die if someone would take the Jewel out her mouth. She couldn't take a bath any more as well. All the servants had to do now, was to pour some water over her dress, and the dress would instantly clean itself from grime. The only care she needed now from them was feeding and the daily brushing of her hair. She was a queen now, but it made no difference to things. They still did what they wanted with her, and she was never able to stop it. And it always ended with her struggling for life for weeks or months, for the sake of some power gain which would only benefit other people. She was again considering escaping, but realized she could do that only if they allowed her a flight with full outfit and weapons. "And even then", Silvia thought, ''she still needed her servants to feed her." There would be no point in escaping if she couldn't sustain herself. In short, she was still screwed up. She couldn't escape without any means of feeding herself.

Silvia's now stiff body proved great for supersonic flight. With the gowns build-in falling protection and decent increase in mana enchantments, the military commitee gave their blessing to let Silvia fly again, and let her do surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Her stiffer body made instability at greater speeds less likely, and the shape of the dress was more accomodating to those high speed flights. Silvia was also allowed to resume her training for air-to-air and air-to-ground combat. Being kept grounded for many weeks, she was happy to finally be able to fly again. Searing through the sky gave Silvia at least some sense of freedom.
The generals in charge were especially pleased with the improved power on Silvia's Stardust Bombs. Her bombs could now destroy an entire citywall section down in one strike. And engaging ground units before they even knew what hit them, was even more effective, as even a indirect hit was usually fatal to enemy forces. Air-to-air was Silvia slightly less dominant, but her superieur speed usually kept her safe from enemy fire. In just a few fly-by's she could take out the smaller sized airborne opposition with her Fiber Lasers, and the sonic boom from her passing by could also be fatal for the flying beast forces of the enemy. Bigger ships didn't suffer much from sonic booms, but then again, they were bigger targets, and not hard to miss with her Stardust Bombs.
The generals considered the biggest tactical value, Silvia's ability to fly in just one or two hours to any of their ground armies, and increase their power on land immensly by providing auras. She never had to travel with an army, but just fly there when the situation demanded it, and provide her valuable auras from behind the lines. Tactical strikes done by Silvia was a possabiliy for the military, but never a first choice. She was too valuable to just send out alone and taking risks. And the more conservative advisors from the court didn't like it to let a girl into real combat situations.

Silvia had become the most important tool for the Kingdom Lhynn military and various secret services, as well as the council. But not only for her aura's and her flying ability which would allow for gathering intel or tactical strikes. Another part was her ability to send and recieve messages instantly over great distances. But as a queen was her time extremely valuable and limited. So there was an entire administration dedictated to manage Silvia's time and to overview all the contactpoints, and who should recieve what commands and messages from the council.

Only for a limited 30 minutes in the morning and in the evening, was Silvia available for sending and recieving the messages from all over the Kingdom. But as this service grew in importance, they brought also limitations to the attention of the intelligence services. Eventually the court was made aware, that Silvia's radius for sending messages was not covering the entire kingdom. And another limit to the skill was that it had to stay on all the time, burdening Silvia's precious mana regeneration all the time, even when flying, where the mana could have been used for other things. But turning the skill off, would result in a range reset of the skill, leaving the kingdom without fast long-distance communication for a few weeks.

So another order was handed out to the most skilled armor smiths and arcane enchanters on the continent, to compete for the royal order to fabricate Silvia a headpiece, which would allow for a better message skill, along other possible improvements.

The dwarfensmith Rardrout Alerock joined with some hermit wizard who was only known by the name Vibifaris, and they both won the project to make Silvia a better headpiece. It was a tall order, as the headpiece had to be both aesthetic pleasing, as being functional and enchantable by the court magicans. After being under construction for two years, Rardrout and Vibifaris presented the court with the Apex Vertex. An one in a kind headpiece, which would encase the head in a open net-like structure, and which would allow Silvia a more effective use of her magical detection spells. The headpiece was made of rare earth-metals, such as platina, chromium and Thorium, and it was adorned with precious diamonds. Needless to say, the price for this piece of art was very, very expensive. And with the huge mana requirements on it, it was pretty much guaranteed, only Silvia would be the only one ever able to use this headpiece to its full power.

 

Silvia herself was quite docile these day's, or even sometimes a bit apatic, as she obediently did everything what all those people wanted from her. When the headpiece was presented to her and put on her head, she was mildly enthausiast about the Apex Vertex. It did hamper her normal view a bit, and the weight was noticeable, but Silvia liked the looks of herself with the headpiece on in the mirror. The headpiece was also much better for flying and sending her magic messages. But most importantly to her, it didn't impose anything really negative on her, so she considered herself very lucky with that, knewing that the council didn't gave a damn if she was comfortable or not.

When being presented to the public with the headpiece, the new addition to Silvia's appearance was an instant hit. It was the talk of the day for many weeks, and even two royal members from other countries, hastened the time of their visits to an earlier time to get a view of Silvia. And the headpiece worked well too. Magic messages were no longer sapping Silvia's Mana Regeneration, but could now be cast as active spells, which would consume energy from her Energy Shield. And the messages were now slightly faster with both sending and recieving, and had a far better radius. Silvia could do 50% more in the same precious time available for them. Needless to say that the kingdoms Intelligence and communication administrations were much pleased with the results, even though the royal accountant was less happy with the expenses.

A farmer found a dead dragon with a mortally wounded man next to it. The man died the next day, but become he had told the local authories that he killed the dragon thanks to his weapon. Once the council heared this story, the military quickly confiscated the strange weapon, which now was called the Staff of Destruction. But aside from being unusually heavy, and it being some kind of short tube, they couldn't figure out what the weapon was supposed to do, although operating certain buttons did made the weapon respond with some noises, so it seemed in working condition. But not much was done with the weapon afterward, and the weapon was stored in the royal vault.
Somehow the story went past the borders of Lhynn, and the Gallians were quite interested in it. Now normally the council of Lhynn wouldn't trade easely unknown weapons, but this time the Gallians made an exceptional interesting offer. They offered the council a blessed pomander, enchanted with some highly unusual traits, of which the most notable one was its ability to feed one person forever. But only just one person. After another research on the Staff of Destruction, nothing useful and worthy was found on it. And although possible a dangerous weapon, it was deemed useless, or at least not a threat to Lhynn's own military forces, and the offer the Gallians did for it was far more interesting.

And thus one some day, Silvia's servants entered her private rooms with a Pomander on a plate. It was made of gold, adorned with countless gems, and the thing was roughly the size of a football. When a few of its compartments was opened, it contained nutrious but tasteless gavage and water in its different sections. When Silvia had become master of the artifact through a rather simple ritual, she was told she could use its Levitation ability through doll master control, and move the water and gavage to the opening in her mask. It seemed the servants were planning to feed her from now on only from the Pomander. Especially some advisors deemed it fitting, to feed their doll queen in this artifical way. And Silvia suspected already for some time, that some of them took hideous pleasure in it to make her habits and human things more and more into something mechanical or to remove it altogether. With use of the Pomander's accurate levitation ability, the food was easy transported  to Silvia's stomach within a matter of seconds. Silvia learned to do it in one fluid motion after some practicing, and could feed herself with gavage and water in less then 15 seconds.

When she learned some time later, that the Pomander was able to produce daily an amount of food and water from stored samples, she had to hide her excitement carefully. She had finally something to look forward again. Silvia figured that if she took the Pomander with her, she had a way to sustain herself.
But it seemed tha Silvia's servants, -following direct orders of the council and royal advisors-, were also carefull with it. They never let her alone with the Pomander, an extremely valuable artifact as it was, and she was never with both her weapons and her artifacts in the same place. In fact, Silvia had no idea at all where they stored the Pomander or her weapons when she had to give them to the servants after usage. Any question about the wereabouts of her items to her advisors or members of the council was always politely avoided. Thus Silvia concluded she had to find things out by asking subtily things to the commoner servants, as she knew they saw and knew a lot too. She could take her time, -and not rush things-, or she risked discovery of her plans to escape her golden prison.

Artifact is a construct-type avatar, and also counts as a doll. It can float and act on its own, in order aid or protect its owner. This Avatar can use its own limited magic spells using its own mana supply, and can also use all auras and curses known by its owner, but not owners offensive spells. Radius of deployed auras are much smaller then its owner.
Artifact skills:
Aura Totem: Cast any aura and curse which its owner also know. The aura radius is much smaller though, and the auras will cancel if any other skill is used by the Saemus Pomander.
Discharge: Multi target attack, which discharge a build up amount of energy to nearby enemies. Has a long charging time, and short-medium range, but does good damage, and is very good against airborne enemies or those standing in water.
Greater Healing: Provides greater healing, allowing the target to recover from the most grievous wounds. But it cannot heal natural or old abberations, or natural diseases.
Greater Magic Levitation:: Active magic skill that can levitate any object, up to masters body weight and multiplied by every 400 maximum mana available to the masters mana pool. Can target up to three objects.

It was a few months before Silvia getting her Pomander, that a noble offered a Choker for sale in the market district from Lhynn City. The item was obviously expensive looking, and entirely covered in gold and huge pink diamonds, but on regards of its magical rarity, it was only a magic class item. Normally such an item would just be sold for the value of the materials. But the royal magican which caught sight of the item, discovered its only unique enchantment. Adapting Aura. Offering no other benefits, and being only magical class artifact, the royal magicans managed to get the choker for a reasonable price, although it was still quite the amount of new gold due to the Chokers expensive jewels.
When reseach was conducted on the item, they discovered that beneath the gold, was an entirely different kind of material. Several metal specialist dwarfsmiths had to be consulted and researched the item, before they could made their conclusion for sure. The base of this item was made of a Chromium Cobalt Molybdelum alloy. Only in the far, ancient past, before the time of the five great wars had such materials being in use. And this object survived all that time, being taken for a normal golden trinket. The only problem the dwarfensmiths and magicans faced now, was how to work on it. Etching, heating and grinding the object would be impossible. Upgrading the itemclass was doable, but getting the required enchantments on it, would prove difficult.
Eventually the legendary halftroll Two-edge was contacted by the court wizards, -and knowing the trolls antics about his craftmanshift-, they offered him a challenge to find a way to work on this piece. He eventually took upon the offer, being promised a great reward if he should succeed to make the collar well enchantable.
So a few months after Silvia got her Pomander, the Halftroll delivered in secret the Choker back to the royal magicans. He did not really managed to grind or alter the Chromium Cobalt Molybdelum alloy, but Two-edge covered the collar in platina, which took over all the properties of the material beneath it, while at the same time opening the possibiliy for arcane workings to be done on it.

It was on Silvia's birthday, that she got the new collar from the court as a birthday present, as a public gift from the entire country to her. And with hundreds of people looking espectantly at her in the throne hall, she could only graciously accept the present, and made the promise to everyone to wear the choker that very evening. Inwardly she cringed though. The collar was just as tall as her neckcoils, but where the neckcoils offered at least some giving in at some directions, this collar was a massive piece of metal. More than half of the collar was just bare, shiny gold, polished so much, that you could use it as a mirror. Silvia feared that the item would make her neck looking like it was made of metal. And she suspected that the collar would dug more in both her collar bones and her cheeks, and thus had to be fitted with more padding underneath to make it possible to wear it. The additional paddings would probably also add to the restrictions of her neck movements. But with the amount of enchantments on it, it was clear that the council wanted her to keep wearing it as a daily garment. And Silvia didn't even dare to ask what the item costed, it was probably too much. And that for something, which she couldn't find really beautifull, and was hurting her collar bones with every step she made.

It was just a few day's after, when Silvia finally got fed up with the choker. She refused to step out her private rooms, and threatened the intelligence and communication services to abandon her messaging duties, unless she was allowed to have the choker off. It caused quite the discussion inside the council, as the expensive choker was made to be permanently a part of Silvia's daily outfit. But it was clear to the advisors that the choker's fit was less then perfect, and their doll queen disliked the looks of the collar a lot. A quick solution had to be found. Eventually the royal courtiers were allowed to create Silvia something that would partly cover the upper half of the choker, and would only leave the jewelled lower half of the choker visible. It was a frilly lace collar, which was put beneath the choker, and where the frilly part would go over the chokers upper part, padding the edge of the choker with multiple layers of puffy fabrics. The lower half of the Choker was eventually modified to accomodate more her shoulders. Silvia would have liked more coverage of that choker, -a shawl for example-, but the courtiers and advisors were against that, and Silvia eventually had to accept that she was only allowed a frilly collar which covered only half of it. A part of her slender, and rigidly encapsulated neck was now still visible, but the upper half was now covered by layers of white, puffy lacecollar, leaving the viewer wondering how long and tall that choker underneath it now really was. And in a way was that attractive to the people too. The choker had a certain exxaggerated fetish, and their queen was actually too shy and uncomfortable about it to show it to the public. She was instead trying to cover it decently, as if she was ashamed about the what the item was standing for, and it was more like she was trying to deny it's existence.

Silvia realized her time was faster running out the she espected. Being always locked in the same multipurpose, selfcleaning dress and with all items irremovable in place, she knew that even after her escape, she would never be able to remove her garments. At this point, the doctors told her that she even depended on her gears for her life. Without the jewel and the support of her restricting garments, she would never be able to function properly, and would very likely die. And though it would be hard, she was sure she could get used to this collar too, given enough time. She would have too. But Silvia knew she had to escape soon, before it wouldn't even be worthwhile the effort. The powerhungry republican politicians from the court wanted more power for themself, and disagreed with the system of their queen having the right to sign or veto any law. They wanted her to become a lesser power in the politics. And along other things, one way was to smother the girl under crushing and resticting garments, all for the so called sake of beauty or for vague military purposes which were beyond her. So Silvia knew she had to hurry, before they made her politically obsolete. And before she was turned into a beautiful doll by those guy's, trapped in her own body, to be displayed as the kingdoms ornament.

Silvia finally discovered where the servants stored her Pomander after each feeding. They put it every time in another place, so it was no wonder she couldn't find the artifacts location. But by putting a miniscule part of an exisiting Ice Golem of hers, she would be able to locate the thing. Now her plan would be rather simple. When she was send on a combat mission in enemy territory, the Military leaders usually handed Silvia all her weapons. Now instead carrying out the mission given to her, she would turn around, and fly to her palace and grab her Pomander. And no wall, steel, magic or muscle would be able to stop her. And after that, it would be sweet freedom for her.

Now Silvia only needed the military council to give her such a mission which would require her to get fully armed. That shouldn't be too hard, as tensions with the empire of Germania were rising, and the council suspected them from preparing an army near the borders of Lhynn. Silvia was an excellent choice for high altitude intel gathering, and it should be a matter of time, before the generals would ask the council to allow Silvia an armed mission.


But again the whole universe was plotting against her. Silvia's servants brought her to a meeting room, where she saw that whicked halftroll Two-edge, along with a dozen magicans. And he had something with him. What more could they do to her, she wondered. It seemed the council espected trouble with Germania too. Right when Two-Edge offered his project at a discount, to make a certain piece of armor, the council just reserved funds to prepare Silvia for the threats of war.

And so she was shown her new corset. A shiny, polished and full-body covering contraption made of tough and durable Titanium-Aluminide, an art of engineering and design. It was combining both Silvia's corset and Chastity Belt at once, and somehow still managed to have better statistics then both seperate garments. And the instrument of torture would soon mercilessly crush her body in its grasp. It was barely smaller at the waist then what she was currently wearing, although the physical limits of her body were more or less reached in that aspect as well. But Silvia knew that the sloping chest, in combination with its absolute rigidity was going to be a really tough challenge. She would have turned around and ran away at that moment, if her hands were not firmly held by the two servants.

Crying was closer then laughing to Silvia, when her current corset was released, and the new one was screwed on her. She had at least the presence of mind to not start complaining, or scolding them. Silvia figured it would make the advisors and politicans only more wary of her, and possibly ruining her future chances to be allowed on an armed mission. But she vowed to give them hell when she would succeed in getting her hands on the Pomander. The corset had some odd, slimy padding inside, and the magicans told Silvia that it was some kind of magican fungus, which would eat any moisture, excess skin and other waste from her body. The fungus padding would also take care of hydrating her skin, and protecting it from the effects of the continuous pressure from the corset. The magicans said that it would do a better job, then the previous enchantments from her Body of Improbable Desire. Even though she was kept clean by the old corset before, Silvia still suffered from time to time from a dry skin underneath the garments, and it even had resulted a few times for the need to temporary remove an item in order to take care of the skin underneath. She was explained that the magic fungus would also spread to her neck, legs,and feet and would maintain the skin there as well. Silvia realized that they just prepared things to keep her indefinitely in her garments, and to remove any need for care at all. But it was in fact not all bad. If she would escape, she couldn't espect help, and knew she could not take off garments herself, so this fungus thing was in hindsight not so bad.

When the corset was slowly screwed shut on her, Silvia noticed some more things, aside from the ever increasing pressure on her ribcage. It shaped her underbelly, pressing it slightly more flat, and making her buttocks stand out more. But the most notable thing was, that the crotch area pushed the plugs deeper inside her. And combined with the increase in pressure on her entire underbelly, it was driving her unwillingly more and more to the edge, until the workers finally shut the corset closed. The tensions between The Empire of Germania and The Kingdom of Lhynn kept rising, until it came to the point, both countries cut all communication between them, and they both started to build up their forces along each borders. The Parlement reasoned after debating it, that it was better to have the war happen inside Germania lands, and gave the admirals permission to launch invasion.

And thus, in the month may, the land army invaded Germania, and laid siege on the gathered Germania forces. The Germanian army was three times bigger then the Lhynn forces, and they had also a decent airforce there, where Lhynn had send most of their away to the south. The admirals of Silvia were relying heavy on the powers of her auras to gain much better killing-rates then Germania. The Lhynn airforce meanwhile, also launched an attack, by invading the south of Germania, going for several main cities, in an attempt to make those surrender, and to cut down support lines of the Germania defenders.

This kind of attack relied heavy on the communication Silvia provided, and thus she was transported to a close point to the border as well. But unlike what everyone, -including Silvia-, espected, she was not deployed on the battle field. Instead the admirals relied on the smaller yet equally effective aura field of Silvia’s Globus Cruciger. They deducted that in this way, the army could still benefit from Silvia’s auras, but they could also take advantage of their superieur range of communications. And by keeping Silvia’s location hidden, far behind the location of conflict, she was much saver, and she could provide artillery fire if the need arised for that.

Just a few day’s before Silvia left her palace, the Admirals brought Silvia a new mask. The dreamweaver mask. With its base made by Two-edge, the mask was made of some kind of Tungsten-Tutanium alloy. It was then further enchanted by several earth mages, by adding several kind of magical stones on it, and plating it with an intricate motive made of gold.

The mask was designed to excel at any kind of Mind control type, and with a focus on the message magic kind of them. The admirals were hoping for a flat increase in radius of mind magic, or some improvement in the messaging skills. Even then, there was a random factor it its outcome. And indeed, it didn’t turned out exactly like the magicans hoped for.

Silvia did got improved Mind Magic, but only through her minions. Her Dolls and Golems would share in her messaging skills. It was usable though to the military command. A far away army just had to take a golem with them, and the golem would effectively extend Silvia’s reach, and could communicate with troops on the field, gather intel and hand out orders. The Golem itself had only to stay inside’s Silvia’s reach of her messaging skills, or the Golem would disintegrate.

The other downside, was that Silvia was no summoner at heart. She could only control and magically maintain a few golems, and even though it take small amounts of fixed reserved mana to maintain them, creating those golems took a lot of mana, and with long casting times. And her Cruciger and Pomander also weighted on her summoning limits. The other downside, was that Silvia’s golems were no longer an expendable force. Or at least not something to sacrifice without considering other options. Silvia could resummon her Ice Golems, -but only next to her self-, and those things were not fast to travel.

It was thanks to her golems and cruciger that they battled the far larger Germanian land army to a standstill, and were also able to conquer three cities at the south province of the empire of Germania, creating pressure from the south too. The main army was also able to damage the germanians smaller air forces, thanks to the boosts of Silvia’s auras. Those auras allowed the Lhynn mages to constantly cover the sky with all kinds of magic. Any attempt of the Germanias to take control of the sky above Lhynns border was thus far blocked off. And thanks to Silvia’s fast and wide range communication, and the map field ability she used, which reached also for tens of miles, the admirals were able to intercept any germanian attempt to invade Lhynn, and turned most of those attack into losses for the Germanian army.

Silvia was quite disappointed that the military command decided for her to fullfill a supporting role all the time. All she had to do until now, was managing the hundreds of messages, and ordering and maintaining her golems and the Globus Cruciger. Her plans to get a hold of all her weapons didn’t go well so far. The admirals were especially worried about the two golems, which were going with the Airship fleet, as they told her that it would be crucial to take control of the area behind the Germanian forces in time. Silvia’s communication was too vital, to expose her too any risk, and she was kept low profile all the time. And that was actually not that hard, as the dolled up queen required little care and maintainance nowaday, unlike most other royalty. With only a pair of maids, she could do, and little luggage was needed, -with her self-maintaining gown and garments-, only her valuable artifacts and the Pomander for her sustainance were needed.

The military did took Silvia’s Umbrella and Fan with them, but they were kept on a hidden location. The officials told her it was to entail potential spies into thinking she was not able to fight, and to keep the extend of her combat abilities hidden.

Within six weeks, was Germanians army weakened to the point they had to start retreating. They started to suffer from hampering supply from the central body, and when the word got out that the Lhynn airforce had bombarded several southern cities into submission, they realized they were in danger of being sandwiched between two forces. But when the germanians started to leave their positions, Silvia’s admirals deemed the time right to allow Silvia to release several of her extremely long ranged barrages, to create a pinchpoint behind the retreating army. This created so much confusing between the germanian divisions, that Lhynns troops were able to overwhelm and take hostage well over half of the Germanian forces. It was turning out in a crippling blow for the Empire of Germania, and the path to Germania’s Capital City was free.

In two weeks, the Lhynn troops marched to the Capital, and a siege on the city was started.


The first few day’s the city hold out well, but negotiations between Lhynn and the Germanian nobles failed, and they refused to surrender to the Lhynn Kingdom. The admirals of Silvia’s army decided to ask her to start magical bombardment. Silvia was excited at start, and was fast to agree, because she hoped she would be allowed both her weapons. But the officers handed her only her fan, and Silvia realized her mistake. The admirals wanted the artillery barrage done from the ground. And without Parasol, she couldn’t fly across the battlefield and grab her Pomander or Globus Cruciger. And now they expected her to bombard the defending city.

There was a reason for the military command to prefer Silvia’s bombs over regular slingshot projectiles. Although every slingshot projectile was enchanted with certain magical properties, it was still a physical object. And both the enchanted walls, and the mages on those walls with their energy shields, were specialized at resisting the regular kind of artillery fire. It would take massive amounts of conventional fire to take those enchanted walls down.

Not so with Silvia’s Stardust Bombs. Those magic bombs had a highly piercing effect in them. They could bring a magic shield down in one or two shots, and enchanted city walls didn’t fare much better. And while magic walls could be recast over time, in that time window was the wall where the wizards was standing on, reduced to rubble.

Silvia destroyed in three hours time the city walls over a length of over a kilometer. Even Silvia’s own people were baffled by the rain of destruction wrought on the hapless city. Not only the walls, but also hundreds of homes of civilians got caught in the slaughter, killing thousends of civilians in the process. Silvia did what otherwise a conventional battalion of artillery units would take a month. To her mana-powered, magic missile bombs it was as if there was no magic shield at all. The capital city surrendered the day after, in the early morning. The Germanians realized they could not defend against this kind of magical destruction. Never before on the continent was a defending capital city beaten in such a short time.

When the Lhynn nobles were taking over command, the royal palace was secured as well. Due to the complete victory over the Germanians, the Lhynn troops were able to get their hands on most of the Germanian treasures as well. Most of the treasures ended in the pockets of officers and nobles, but several royal artifacts was carefully collected and stored by the admirals. One of them had their special interest, as it had interesting enchantments which could fulfill Silvia’s limits on several points. It was one of the Germanians most treasured royal artifact’s. The Blue Hope, a gigantic diamond with the size of a chickens egg.

Aside of its exorbitant value, the Blue hope was also a useful and versatile magical artefact.

The diamond was placed in a necklace, but the diamond itself was a trinket class artefact, and could be essentially worn anywhere. And the nobles of Lhynn figured that it would be very fitting, if Silvia would wear the Germanian royal artefact, as a sign of Lhynns dominance over

Germania. Silvia's advisors figured she could easily wear the gem around her waist, instead of using it as a necklace. The gem would rest on her skirts, and it would be more standing out there, then near her jewelled choker.


And thus Silvia found herself being fitted with the gem, before her victory march through the beaten capital city. The Blue Hope necklace was attached to her Titanium belt, the silver color from the belt matching the smaller white diamonds around it. Silvia was carried in a white, open carriage, so everyone could see her. But even as everyone awed at her beauty, it was for Silvia the first time that she saw large amounts of people being afraid from her. It was very strange to her, who was always seen as fragile and easily brought into submission by the people who knew her well. But after the rain of destruction upon their city, she couldn’t blame the citizens. Even if it was mostly the military command and the council taking decisions and actions, commoner people saw her as the one responsible for conquering them. If things went awry, she realized they would held her accountable for the stuff that happened, and the nobles in Lhynn would eagerly place all blame on her. She got another artefact now, but the leading admirals and nobles were smart enough to not let her with both her Parasol and Fan, those artifacts being classified as secret military, tactical mass-destruction tools. The nobles explained that those weapons could only be used if the largest part of the council would agreed upon it. And with the Blue Hope diamond on her body, -aiding mostly Silvia’s supporting abilities-, they could advance their plans further, whatever that would be.

It was three years later, that the council decided to invade Gallia. There was a rebellion going on there, and it was a good excuse to take action, in name of bringing peace there. In reality the council was seizing a good opportunity to expand Lhynn’s territory. With help of Silvia’s auras and communication skills, the weakened Gallian army was quickly beaten by Lhynn forces. And whenever the army of Lhynn showed a defending city, that Silvia was along with them, such town usually quickly surrendered to avoid annihilation. The surrounding countries heard what happened to Germanians capital city, and the story became even exaggerated, to the point that everyone believed that the doll queen could simply blow up an entire city.

With Lhynn now being three times bigger then most surrounding countries, and still having a strong economy and a well trained and equipped army, factions inside the council voted for uniting the entire Halkenian continent under the banner of Lhynn. Being the leading country now on the continent, they could declare themselves an empire, which would also raise the status and power of the council. Silvia had to be crowned an empress.


The courtiers of Silvia’s court also made her a fabulous gown. An extravagant fantasy of deep black moonspider silk and multicolored patterns. Every inch of the gown’s skirt was decorated and its size would mean that Silvia probably needed assistance, if she would have to walk around in it, instead of floating.

The Moonspider Silk had a special ability. It could change from black to white by sending certain magic through it. This would allow Silvia to change the appearance from her gown much, in a matter of seconds.

The council and parlement was so impressed with its design, that they ordered to merge the magical properties from Silvia’s old gown to the newer empress dress. That created a mountain of troubles for the enchanters and magicans responsible for that task. But with the treasuries of the empire of Lhynn bulging, the price was not a point of discussion, and the magicans were eventually able to overcome the problems. They even managed to squeeze a little bit extra power out the upgraded clothing, although it was not much. The doll queen Silvia was the empires face and sign of success, and she had to show it off.

Silvia was actually a bit scared of the new dress. It was so complex, and the skirts so huge, that it would mean that she feared she couldn’t move without aid from maids, when walking. The gown had a train too, and maids had to carry it, if she was to take corners or move over slightly uneven ground. The first sessions with the gown turned out in a drama for the encumbered girl. After several times slipping and tripping over her skirts, and also Silvia being unable to walk more then 100 meters straight without getting exhausted or even fainting, the courtiers decided to postpone the coming out of their newest creation. The council recognized the problems too, and asked the master-smiths and arcane enchanters to find a solution for that problem. Due to Silvia’s small and weak feet, and her easily tripping or slipping, she was not really able to move the gown, unless something about its weight and size was being done.


Eventually Two-edge stepped in, and proposed to add heavy, enchantable metallic construction under the dress, and enchant it to actually make the gown carry the wearer, instead the other way around. He proposed an enchantment and arcane itemspell, which would let that metal fall under Silvia’s control. And such was done and worked out by the court magicans. But the council intervened with the decision to place the enchantment on the dress itself. They wanted it placed on the headgear instead, as a safety measurement. Their reasoning was, that if Silvia was to become a danger to others or herself, she could be stopped, by simply forcefully taking her crown off. She would be stuck inside her rather heavy dress, and become more or less immobile.

But the council wanted also Silvia be able to act as a strong and dependable empress, and she had to be able to move confidently and easy inside the huge dress. And thus, when Silvia was fitted again with the dress, it was even more sturdy and cumbersome, and she knew she couldn’t move or walk inside it by herself. But when the courtiers gave her her new Diamomd Diadem, the entire gowns internal structure could be lifted by her, and Silvia felt how she was supported by the dress. And even when she relaxed her legs, the gown could hold her firmly up. The magicians showed her, how she could sit, when she pressed on the back of the skirts. Only then the skirts would fold itself, to allow its wearer to take another position other then standing. The dress itself was actually so heavy, that she couldn’t float well in it, unless she had her tiara as well to help with the lifting of the dress. The Timeless Artifice couldn’t lift her much from the ground, without the diadem. Silvia realized that all people had to do, was taking her diadem, and she would be grounded and unable to walk. The gown would kept her chained without her headgear.

Tests with the umbrella showed the council that she could fly with only the Timeless Artifice and umbrella, but only when going full speed. As soon as she would stop flying using her Scramjet Propulsion, Silvia would get in a slowed falling, and she would be barely able to move, until her Diamond Diadem was given to her. It goes without saying that the Council was pleased with the results, as it gave them another means of controlling her and putting a limit on Silvia's powerfull magic.

In the preparations for the coronation, the council ordered also an enchantable diadem for Silvia. That diadem had to be able to fit on the frame of Silvia’s lunaris circlet, and to be worn simultaneously. The diadem was mostly meant to mark Silvia’s status as empress. It was made with a total amount of 1333 diamonds, and had the symbols of her nation on it. The diadem had also 169 pearls on it, and everything together, it made the diadem probably one of the most expensive headpieces in existence in the continent.

But the diadem was also supposed to be strong, and it had to take over the enchants from the Praetor Tiara. But the Diamond Diadem was highly enchantable, and the court magicans were able to add the itemskill Magnetic Levitation. This skill would allow Silvia to move more easely in her rather heavy dress, as long as she was wearing the diadem. But the skill was actually far more powerfull then the mages originally anticipated, as the skill would allow Silvia to manipulate any object made from metal within her reach. And that reach was abouth a tenth of her aura radius, which would give Silvia an impressive field of control for this skill. And the ability scaled with the users mana, so with Silvia's huge mana, she was able to lift multiple tonnes of material with levitation.


But Two-edge intended the jewel which was responsible for the skill, to be placed inside the dress. The eccentric mastersmith was not pleased with how some people inside the council tried to get more and more influence over the girl queen, and how they tried to put her under their control. He got notice of Silvia's unhappiness with the situation, and vowed to her to help her to escape their grasp on her. The halftroll wanted his masterpiece to be something which was not buyed, but to be something that was earned. And as Two-edge deemed the current dress promising but ultimately flawed, he decided to work on something new, a piece of perfection and power the world had never seen before. And if Silvia would manage to gain her freedom, his masterpiece would be hers.

As most of Halkegenia was now under control of Lhynn, two other superpowers on the continent, -namely the Elven Borg and the eastern lands of the sun 'Rub El Khali'- decided to join an alliance, in order to keep themself save from the ambitions of the gouvernment of Lhynn. The council took great offense on that move, as they suspected hidden plans to invade Lhynn, and throw the human empire over. The diplomatic connections with both lands were rather quickly severed, although some forces inside the gouvernment found it a stupid move, as it would only prove the elves and eastern demi-humans their aggresiveness.


Noneless, precautions were deemed nercessary, and a great plan was unfolded by the chairman of the council. Lhynn had to step up their ambitions, and had to create a strong movement inside the country, where all common people from all groups and ages could join it to provide the country with support. This organisation inside the country would be para-militaristic in nature, and would act along with the normal army.

The generals and counselors from the gouvernment realized that although Silvia was able to break cities, armies and strongholds, she could not give any ground control, and only truly excelled at air superiority, but only in the area where she was present. To reap the fruits from her actions, capable men who were devoted to the cause were needed. And thus the country of Lhynn was slowly becoming more militaristic in nature and organisation.


Aside of the building up of the army, SIlvias  Prismatic Banico Fan was getting old, and an improvement was deemed nercessary. The generals ordered for more offensive powers to be added to the fan. But the court mages were already reaching the limits of what they could do on the magic artifacts, and Silvia was reaching a wall in power. The mages could perhaps add more silent-cast spells on items, but that would not really improve Silvia's stats or magical destructive power. At least not without paying unacceptable prices in mana consumption. The Windripper Fan was in that regard only a marginal improvement of Silvia's power. The increase in aura radius was nice, but the Eldrich Laser was a costly skill to use for Silvia, although its power was undeniably strong. But that skill would deplete Silvia's mana quite fast, and could only be used for a short time, lest she had to drop aura's or shields.

And thus the generals and court found themself again faced with a longing to improve the offensive power of their queen further. Elven magics was deemed stronger then that of human wizards, and the vast armies of the inhumanly strong demi-humans of Rub El Khali would easely overrun their own armies, if left unchecked. Silvia could counter the individual enemies, but not at the same time. It was either long range attacks, or her supporting the armies with her aura's. But Silvia could not do both tasks at the same time, leaving the forces of Lhynn vulnerable to one of the enemies.

With the invasion of Gallia by Rhub El Khali and the Elven Borg, the Great Halkegenia War started. Most human inside the continent were rather easely swayed to help the former agressor Lhynn with defending the continent from the demi-humans.
But the invasion was well organized and the armies of the elves and demi-human were massive, and supported by great amounts of airships, dragons and other war machines. As the alliance got rather quick a good part of Gallia under their control, the council decided to play their secret thrump-card, a forbidden and unholy artifact.
The Inoculation Soulbox was used on Queen Silvia. An evil artifact, which would rip someone his soul outside its body, to store it in the Soulbox. In return would that person become a magic girl and gain an increase in magical and physical powers, and their body would become more resistant to volatile magics. Aside from the offensive benefits, becoming a magic girl also made Silvia less prone to becomign exhausted. And that was a huge boon as well, as she could now longer stay outside without the need to take frequent breaks for resting.

In the months after, was Silvia able to stall the progress of the Elves and Demihumans, and gained some small victories.

The Red Sonorus Egg can also record a scene, and send it back to its master by using the skill 'Magic Message'.

Both Sonorus eggs have the abilities 'Greater Magus Light', "Levitation", "Invisibility" and "Phasing".

Does not count as a golem or automation, and fly independently nearby its master. Their position can temporary be controlled, but only in close by proximity of the master. Alternatively, the eggs likes to sit on the top of the head of their master, and are required to do that from time to time, to be able to feed and recharge on the mana of their master.

The great war of Lhynn was already lasting for more then 10 years, when Silvia was equipped with a new artifact, which would tip the balance in favor of Lhynn. The armies of the Elves and Demihumans would recieve devastating blows in a matter of day's, where before there was a stalemate in effect, and neither sides could progress any further, and was forced to hold their ground in trenches warfare.


In the northern countries, the ancient dragon ,-Bismark the frozen terror-, was slain in a battle by the armies of the northen countries. That creature took 30.000 brave men with him in the grave, but the northern people finally got rid of that ice dragon who terrorized the lands there for over 50 years. The body of the dragon was then mostly used to create a monument for the fallen victims, and further for reagents and potions. It was there that the court wizards from Lhynn managed to buy several of the most powerfull parts from the slain beast. They got their hands on scales, dragon blood and some other parts. The dragon remains promised great potential for enchanting cryomancy powers.

From that, the council decided that the magicans and courtiers had to make a neckpiece for Silvia, so they could utilitize the already existing ice afinity, shields and other enchantments of the Jeweled Choker of Jevunation, and merge them with the dragon parts.

The construction of the neckpiece and its many individial dragon scales and various other parts would take the craftsman and magicans over 3 years to complete. The neckpiece was made to utilitize as many scales as possible, and it would cover Silvia's entire neck and good part of her shoulders. The neckpiece would actually allow Silvia to turn her head a bit, and its perfect fit distributed the weight evenly over her shoulders. The neckpiece turned out to be more comfortable then her old choker, despite being a bit taller and more sleek around her neck. But the neckpiece would still force Silvia to keep her posture erect, and her head held up in a proud position. But that was something she was used with her old choker as well. The real disadvantage was that the neckpiece had different looks and structure then the rest of Silvia's clothing, and the scales had a dullish brown-golden color. The courtouriers decided to make Silvia wear a lacy collar over it, to cover the neckpiece up.


With her new neckpiece, Silvia power over ice magic went up dramatically, and she was ordered by the council to unleash a 6 weeks lasting blizzard on the unsuspecting forces of the demihuman alliance. During that time, around 70% of all enemy forces perished, -roughly 300.000 man-, and the admirals from the Elves and Demihumans had to negotiate a week later for a organized surrender and retreat, as their remaining troops were no longer able to continue, even though their supply lines were still functioning.

Silvia had become a superpower inside the continent of Halkegenia. Sending an army against Lhynn was now useless, if you could not protect yourself against the cold and being hampered with the snow and the lack of resources from the surrounding lands was lethal to any invading army.

But what she and the council didn't account for, was that the lethal blizzard also killed 400.000 of her own people. 100.000 of them being soldiers, but most of them were innocent civilians, who were not notified at all of the oncoming storm. The scale of the blizzard was far larger then anyone anticipated. Due to this catastrophe, which people eventually called 'the white hell', Silvia had just become a mass murderer of unprecedented scale. Once she discovered that the preperations for the blizzard were none-existent, and innocents got caught in the blizzard, she plummeted into another depression for 3 months.
